What do you get when you cross jazz with karaoke? Jazzyaoke: Your opportunity to front a LIVE six-piece jazz band and sing the standards! All lyrics are provided. For every song (up to five) that you sing at the mic, you get a dollar back from your admission fee. You've heard of singing for your supper? At Stowe Street Cafe, you sing for your cover! Come early to get a seat and submit your song requests, but please leave your own musical instruments at home unless you are singing (it's not open jam). $5 admission. This is WATA's (Waterbury Area Trail Alliance) largest annual fundraiser - all proceeds from this race go directly to support trail building and maintenance in the Waterbury Area - places like Perry Hill trails, Little River State Park's new trails, and elsewhere. We rely heavily on this funding to operator - come help us out and have fun doing it!
